Year 9 Options
All students will be encouraged to take an academic profile of options suitable for their ability. Each year the range of options subjects may differ slightly due to course content, choices and staff specialism. Students will be allocated either Combined or Triple Science which will determine the pathway they are on and the options choices they have. Please be aware that subjects are not blocked until after students have chosen their subjects to ensure maximum choices are achieved across the year group. Parents need to be aware that some students will have clashes and will be required to change their options. They will be spoken to by the Deputy Headteacher or Head of Year without parents initially, if you have question or concerns regarding this process please contact the Head of Year initially.
